I painted the tin with Gesso first then allowed it to dry. I used some stamping ink to colour the tin, a pink and a blue just to give it a hint of colour. Then I painted on the tree and used some sharpie pens as well. The grass was last and I aded some flowers in the grass just to give it some depth. The tin lid can be used on the base or as a lid. The tin can be used for storage it looks nicer than a slimfast tin on ...
