My Cross stitch projects

At the moment I am working on some cross stitch things mainly because I am running out of paper for cards. I have making some cross stitch bits to add to cards and as gifts.
I have some aida left over from a project I did last year so I am using that up first.

I am really looking forward to getting the book I love small projects they are great for adding to cards etc.

Here are some pics of the items I have made so far

This birdhouse was a real pain it was too large for the frame provided it is supposed to have a bird on the roof. a) the bird is far too big and b) it would nor fit the frame. I ended up omitting the bird and adding more flowers.


This Fushia key fob was sent to friend in America as a gift for her wedding anniversary.
I have some others made and will post a pic of the later on.

These are gorgeous Paula. It's a shame about the bird on the bird house. I wonder if someone put the wrong size frame in the pack by mistake.

They all come with the same frames, the patterns are meant to fit them but some do not. I am not alone either as others have had the same problem. It is a liitle annoying as you have to fiddle around with the pattern to make it fit the frame.

How odd. You would think that someone would check it to make sure the design fits wouldn't you? Or is that just too sensible?? Hmmmm!

Too sensible if you ask me I got them from Hobbycraft and they have said that others have been complaining about it as well, also to check that the instructions for the picture. Some have been sent out with the wrong pattern instructions. You have a rose and the instructions are for a sunflower!!!!!! not helpful. So I am writing to the address on the packet and see what they say about this.

Love the X stitch Paula.............. makes me wonder if the marketing people ever do get together, hope you have some success with the company. Let us know how you get on.
