I bought some lovely cross stitch things in Texas and will enjoy making them. They are so much cheaper there than here so I got some kits for myself. I want to make a cushion for Xmasa and to make cushions for the bed as well so lts to sew and enjoy and recall my wonderful trip to Texas

Computer is back just waiting for the date to get hooked up to broadband. Still at the library until then.
I am busy cross stitching things as gifts this year I have taken pics of them and will post them up when I have the computer online at home. New Cross stich stuff Icon_biggrin
I love cross stitching and have a few ideas in mind for things I want at home. I made a lovely needle point picture of a wolf that is now framed and I am not parting with it for anything.
I bought some small canvas bags in Texas and I have made some cross stitch designs that I sewed tot hem and filled the bag with chocolates as gifts. I am hoping that hobby craft has something similar so I can get some more. I knew I should have bought more but wanted to get some other things as well.

I made the cushion and the filler by hand I don't have a sewing machine.

These little bags were bought in Hobby Lobby in Texas. I used designs and colours to compliment the bags and what each person likes. I filled them with chocolate bars from Hotel Chocolat.

Hi Paula,

Those bags are just gorgeous. What is the pattern for the Christmas Tree bag as I'd love to have a go at that!

I've just bought a new lamp today so am hoping to get a lot more Cross Stitch done on evenings now (I realised that with all of this wet weather I can't rely on enough daylight during the weekends any more!).

I hope these gifts are well appreciated - a beautiful job!
