Golden retriever card

I have been asked if I can make a leaving card for someone who works for me, and all they can think of is her golden retriever who has dug up her entire garden.

Just need to find a golden retriever now, and see if I can create a dug up garden. Any ideas welcome.

I don't think I have golden retriever anything though I have various doggy papers and embellishments, may have a dog die cut not sure if it would do. I suppose I could get the stamp making kit out and try make one if I can find a suitable photo or drawing, mind you I have never used it and have had it a couple of years at least.

you could get an image off the internet - try microsoft clipart or Ask Jeeves - images, for the goldie and maybe cotton wool stained brown with ink and shredded for the garden.

I have found some perfect photos Anne, not sure if I am allowed to use them. One site said don't steal our images! This one doesn't but it seems rude to help myself, need royalty free images. I have cotton wool, hmmmm, thinking.

I have a Whipper Snapper dog stamp but it's not a golden retriever. It has a bone in it's mouth and a waggy tail. It's called "Harry the dog" if you want to google it and see if you can find a pic of it and then if it's any good let me know and I'll stamp some out for you.

It looks possible Fe. I have some Penny Black dogs, but that one is better. I know I could get some good stamps from the USA but they will take too long, if not forever to get here!

I will let you know, still doing my DT card then I will look at what I have. Might have the Oops stamp by PB which could be good, dog looking into flowerpot on its side, but I really can't remember if I did actually buy it, I know I wanted it.

What I have in mind is a dog sitting like Harry with a plant hanging from his mouth, which would be possible by cutting the bone off. Then a die cut fence behind, some pots tipped upside down and sideways, and maybe a few flowers strewn about, not sure if it will work yet. Still thinking at present.
