1 STAMPERAMA on Thu Aug 13, 2009 2:58 pm

Spent a fab day with Pipster in Stevenage last Sunday and spent a lot of money but had a fantastic day.

The 'Craft Bug' had almost the whole back wall filled with Sizzix - I was in heaven. I had to keep going back several times before I could even hope to make a choice. In the end I bought a large swirl with little additional flower - I had seen a demo where paper was folded in four then put through with a swirl die and a large or circular swirl is opened up and new I was after a decent swirl to do this. I bought a small alphabet, a vine with flowers and a cow. At another stall I bought my first set of nestabilites - the scalloped circle ones. I was so pleased to get these as seeing many of your projects using these when we were on PCJ is what convinced me I 'needed' a Sizzix.

I bought some U-mount swirl stamps and the Elusive images with the flowers/butterflies and harlequin backgrounds that I have been after for quite a while.

Here is a pic of a card I made on Sunday night:

Thank you for your lovely comments. The papers were a paper of K&Co that they were selling cheap - oops something else I bought on Sunday.
