Is anyone actually ready for christmas!

I have the tree up, another real one, but no decorations as of yet anywhere, incl the tree! (Mind you I didnt really want decs up whilst estate agents took photos lol)
I still have a few pressies to get and the christmas food shop! I'm not going to panic just yet! xxxx

Nowhere near! The tree and decorations went up yesterday and the cards have mostly been posted...only the local hand-delivery ones to do now, but I have not started on the cooking (I make hampers for people) and half the presents have yet to be delivered or bought. I am beginning to stress about it!

Well I must say that I am doing well this year. All pressies are bought - just fresh food to buy nearer the time. About 5 more christmas cards to make. So all in all I am doing better than I thought I would have..yayyyyy

I was going to put the tree up at the weekend but then Peej (hubby) was poorly so I didn't get around to it. Was going to put it up tonight but I've been doing last minute pressy shopping and wrapping today so haven't had time to clear a space for it. Maybe tomorrow eh?!

I still have more Christmas cards to make. Hoping to have a blitz on them tomorrow. I still think bears have the right idea. I wish I could just hibernate until spring!

Ooh you poor thing Fe - hope you get it all sorted out soon and OH is all better now. You did make me laugh about the BEARS and I must say I do agree...

Noooo, trying to pretend it isn't really happening! Tree is up but not decs, tree got damaged but is fixed. Still got presents to get not sure what in some cases, cards to make I think, depending how many are in the ones I found that I made up last year. Just found my Printmaster program and loaded it so I could get at my envelope labels, and found the address book, had to delete a few people sadly and have some to add, so might get started on the work ones.
I am sure I have to post stuff but not sure what, I did post back some boots that didn't fit, 5 pairs, so have a bit of space now and hopefully refund soon!
Eeeeek, panic panic panic! I am hoping to take all next week off but it won't help if I should have posted cards!

sounds like we're all in the same boat then, i'm currently been stabbed my christmas tree and it really hurts and feel like launching it lol *if you see a flying tree, ignore, its just mine* lol

Am I ready? Am I flip!!!??? Still making Christmas cards, still presents to wrap, cards to get in the post and a couple more pressies to buy. I'm going to Richard and Gayle's for Christmas this year so haven't to cook or think about food........ errrrrr, forgotten something......... Oh yes, the Christmas Tree and decorations. They are still in the cellar, must go and get them and decorate.... busy, busy, busy....
But I'm happy ...... LOL

I think i have most of the presents bought now...still waiting for a few deliveries. Not wrapped anything yet and probably wont until next week. Don't know if I need any more cards yet...will find out later this week.

I made 17 Christmas cards today! It was a bit of a production line affair which I don't really like doing but I just needed to get some done. So they are all kind of the same design and not very imaginative but at least that's one job crossed off my list!

I will be more organised next year!!!

Well the presents are all sorted the cards have been posted the tree went up yesterday so it's just the food shopping to do now.!!

All I need to do is do the baking. I am making my son and his girlfriend a Pecan Pie and Choc chip cookies and Brownies for their gift they will be made Saturday then all is done. Last food shop is tomorrow. Its snowing I just hope it will be too wet for it to settle so I can get everything done tomorrow. I love Christmas and everything that goes with it.If I don't get back to you before the New Year have a great Christmas everyone

My tree is now up!

my tree is wrecked thanks to a naughty toddler arghhhhhhhhhhhh, should be finished present shopping this weekend, cards in post tomorrow. Online shops closed to give me a break. Food shop next week and hopefully a fair bit of gym time over the holidays too

Tree is up and fixed, after unfortunate accident. Wrote my cards for work and gave them out with yet more chocolate - expensive time Christmas.

Got to do the other cards and I know I will run out. Then there are the other decs to get up and what did we put on top of the tree last year?

Three more cards to write and all the non work presents to wrap, then it is just the fudge to make. I was hoping to have the next three days at home by myself to clean the house from top to bottom and get everything finished, but unless it stops snowing soon that may not happen.

I am pleased to say that I am all finished now too. Food shopping being delivered on Tuesday by the nice delivery man...lol

Some people are just too organised. I have spent the day cleaning the house top to bottom (including pulling out all the furniture to clean behind, scrubbing the floors etc). Only a bit more to go and then I will do the wrapping and the final shop and I think I will be done. It will probably be all finished on 23rd! Nothing like leaving it to the last minute.

I am still making the cards, have posted some today after venturing out to buy stamps. Still have the big scrub to do and some presents to get and bits and pieces for the meal.
I have a sinus infection I think and my head hurts so much it is making it difficult to concentrate. Just saw a bus slip and have a near miss, it nearly ended up on the pavement crashing into a fence and I think the driver was shaken up as they pulled the empty bus over to the side of the road a bit further on and just stayed there.
Still have presents to wrap too. I keep starting bits of jobs but not finishing any of them!
