1 Good news and bad news on Fri Jan 15, 2010 12:51 pm

First I read an email that said my Sizzix dies had been dispatched - hooray!
Next I read an email that said due to several people putting the same thing in their basket simultaneously I couldn't have the Bigz XL box die or the Bigz Love bird die boo hoo. Now the box I can live without but I really wanted that bird!

I was so frustrated, I had ordered 9 items from Sizzix and when they finally came (Wednesday) there were only 3 available

I had even rung up last week as it hadn't arrived, it was then that the girl told me they had been closed between Christmas and New Year - although that's when their sale had been running and she never mentioned that some items would not be available! Oh well I am very pleased with the bits that I did get.

It's so annoying when that happens!

I know, and as I think I told you before I ordered when the sale started, had a load in my trolley and queried the postage as the email had said free over £50. This was a silly move as by the time I realised they weren't working and decided to just buy it half had disappeared from the trolley, and a couple of things still in it were not visible anywhere on the site so I am not surprised a couple more things have gone, but I really wanted the bird, ah well I have done well and got a little alphabet I like very much, well hopefully I have - will see when it turns up!

i had a problem with a website selling sizzix stuff a couple of years ago, i ordered over £30 from them and it took well over a month to get to me and when it did it was only one item!!!! and no refund, so i had to battle for ages with my order, they finally sent out my order, two months after initially ordering it all
Then out of the blue about six months later, I had a parcel come with all duplicate items and an apology for it all taking so long!!! Now normally I would say something but I thought sod it on this occasion and kept the lot! Not normally my style but I was soooo mad with them for how they treated me initially!!!

Well my dies arrived this evening, and I only ended up with 4, so I have even less than the email I was sent suggested, that only mentioned two, there are at least two more missing. I did get the little alphabet (sorry Anne), two XL dies and one Bigz die. Very disappointing.
