Talk about being busy that last few weks have been really full.
Hubby has decided to make a model railway in N gauge to you and me that is small not the usual size that you see which is 00 gauge. So we have been getting in the wood etc to make the base board and hunting down stuff we need. This Saturday we go to an exhibition in Bletchley to see layouts etc and see if they have any stuff second hand that we can use.
Apart from that I have been busy finishing off projects for friends so I can get them posted off.

We are going to have our bathroom done this coming week. They take out the bath and put in a walk in shower. Sounds easy but they will have to dig up the floor sort out a bulging wall and do all sorts of other stuff besides tiling and stuff. It will take them 10 working days and no bathroom except for using the loo all that time.
The Council are doing it as we have been down for this to be done for 5 years and finally we have got to the top of the list. I can't wait to get it started and finished.

So I ahve not been around for a while and will hopefully get things sorted out so I can join in swaps again soon. The model railway is taking up a lot of time but I dont mind as it is something that he really wants to do. I am all for him having a hobby and interest and will help out all I can. The railway is going to be in the living room as we have no where else for it to go. It will look lovely when it is all done and will take ages to get to that stage as well.

Hi Paula, mine is doing a model railway too but in 00 gauge. I haven't been involved apart from going to a model railway shop where we spent hours!
