sorry again

Havne't been around because I thought I pulled a muscle in my eye..lol..but doc said I have bad sinus infection, so could,nt really come on pc much - after being able to come back on pc I found that I couldn't get on for long!!!! Then after doing all the laborish cleaning and checking I finally got on 2 days later only to find this morning that I had been hijacked' by some malware thing - it over took my pc and security part - spent the whole day today trying to sort it out. Got rid of most of the malware but some is still lurking Grrrrrrrr. It seems to have deleted or corrupted a lot of my registry files and shortcuts. I do however still have my laptop but do all my work mainly on the PC - so have decided to leave it for now and pop on the forums etc.
I will most probably put the PC into the shop to get sorted - I did try running my windows disk again to do a dirty install but it won't even let me do that.
But hey ho nevermind eh !!!!!!

Computers are great when they work but a real pain whren they don't I know I have had lots of probs that hopefully are all sorted out now. Hope things get sorted out soon for you.

Sinuses getting better and got drops for my ears now too - so all should be well soon.

Sorry to hear about your sinus infection, I hope you feel better soon. Good Luck with getting the PC sorted out...it is really hard and extremely annoying when you have malware/virus etc on it.

PC needs the hard drive re-written Hmmmmmm

Mine has it now. I think it was a link my niece sent me when chatting on MSN, foolishly I clicked it............Been taken over, programs have gone so going to be offline sorting it hopefully, need to back up and may have to reformat and reinstall everything - deep joy!

Oh Cazzy - it is a nightmare I know. Good luck in re-formatting. I was able to get rid of the virus - it took over my computer too. Now I am missing some dll.exe files which of course are quite crucial.

What a nightmare for you both. Hope you get it sorted soon.
