Challenge 2

Hi everyone (sorry its late, how gorgeous has the weather being? I've just got back from my allotment)
This week Fe has set you a challenge of 'One for the boys' I personally always find boys cards so hard to make so lets see what you can come up with, remember it can be for any occasion
Here's some design team inspiration for you (mine will follow shortly, I've ran out of daylight to photo it - sowwy)

A male card is hard to do sometimes especially if the man does not like sports, fishing, golf or sailing. You are left with cars, trains, motorbikes and drink. Of course there is always gardening if they like that and clothing like shirts and ties and of course if they like a particular pop group like the Beatles your sorted.

I thought I'd enter my own challenge as I've had to make a Father's Day card today! LOL!

These cards are great Paula. I love the Beatles card, that is so funky and the beer card is lovely too. Thank you for joining in the challenge.

I know what you mean about making cards for men Paula. Back in March I went to a craft fair on a mission to find some good stamps for men to use on my cards. I am spoilt for choice when it come to the girls but the boys....

I still struggled as most of the boys/men I know aren't into fishing, drinking, football, golf etc, however I did get a snowboarder (for my brother's cards), a "manly" bear which I used on the card above, a very nice plane, a funny Penny Black Stamp and a manly Happy Birthday sentiment stamp. I'd still like some more but it's a start!

Why not Fe, and very nice too! Great masculine bear!

These are two Birthday cards I made for my dad. The first one I made using the new plane stamp I bought and this one is from me and Hubby.


The second card I made for the kids to give him and I used my funny Penny Black stamp. It did make me chuckle when I saw this one at the craft fair.

I love them both Fe.
