This week’s challenge has been set by the quirky girl herself, our lovely Deanne and is:

You have until 8pm next Sunday (20th September) to enter for this challenge to be in with a chance to win the prize. The winner will be picked by a member of the design team each week and that person will announce the winner on the Monday after the challenge ends.

Yes I don't know what's happened there. I think Anne may have moved her card on Flickr so the link isn't working any more.

no - not moved it and I can see it clearly. How bizarre you can't see it. Must go now but will upload directly to the thread later.

Oh my goodness - that's a tough challenge!! It's times like this I'm glad I'm not a DT memeber because I might have to opt out of this one - the grey matter is lacking this week and I don't have the weekend as I'm off home to see the parents.
Hmm off for a quick rummage to see whether I can magic up something!
Thanks for the inspiration DT's though - they're amazing cards! Can't see Anne's either (but I love that Christmas tree card Anne!)

I think a few of us wanted to throw stuff at Deanne for this one Ellie. (Love you really Deanne!!!!) But I guess its good to have a challenging challenge now and again to get you thinking outside your box or comfort zone.

Yep - got really stumped with this one, but tried like Deanne said to think outside the box, however if none of you can see it what good was that!!

Looks like it worked. I think I know what happened: I loaded it onto Flickr to send to Fe then changed the viewing rights to private until the challenge went live (didn't want any peeking). I think that blocked it everywhere else.

Oh that's just gorgeous Anne - worth the wait!!

I agree gorgoeus anne i love it and LOL just think outside the box!
I love how Julia has done a layout of family playing a board game! I never even thought to do that..

I saw it on Flickr, that is lovely Anne and so quickly done! Sorry that sounds bad, I mean congrats on being so quick at completing the challenge, perhaps we should have a wee prize for the first!

Thanks Cazzy, but it was supposed to be up with the DT ones but just had trouble viewing it which is why I reloaded it separately further down.

Love all the DT ones - so many different takes on the theme. I like the simple cleanness of Gez's and Julia's photo too, but they are all great.

I was really lucky Deanne that i had such a photo and also that it came to mind when i most needed it.

I can see it in the DT ones Anne. Sometimes have probs seeing photos, but not on this one.

I didn't think it was a bad idea Deanne, there are so many games people could base it on, chess, draughts (got to be easy, squares and a grid), make one up, snakes and ladders, monopoly, even maybe card games would be acceptable, I nearly did one of those.

I loved this challenge & without it I wouldn't have made the card I made & it's perfect for my DH. So thank you Deanne.xx

oh wow that was weird! did any one else notice the word CARD and bingo was hi lighted and some box kept coming up? Then when I tried to login, it wouldn't let me!! Anyway!!! I've thought of so many more game type cards now, I might make them and then I'll have them ready to hand out to my mum and dad who are always playing games!

Go on Lyn, you could win the prize!
