Second attempt! M&S "one size doesn't fit all" hat has gone back, along with the fascinator and other pashmina in red so sticking to hot pink, I thought I would order a fascinator online but then popped into a very posh shop in Bath and spent more than the whole outfit on a "cough" well, fascinator or sort of small hat, more a hat but sits on an angle and has feathers and having tried it on and really liked it I asked the price, wasn't totally surprised but when she said do you want a box for another £5 or a bag, I thought after I have spent that much what is another £5!

Guess how much I spent? (Now wondering if I should get a posher outfit to go with it).

Not a hat person, don't suit them, my neighbour looked everywhere for a nice hat for a wedding and then found it in a charity shop, £3, after the wedding she returned it to be sold again!

lol!

Fe is close, it was £139 plus £5 for the box! She said she was very busy this week selling hats for Ascot and royal garden parties, very posh!

I knew it was going to be more than the £40 M&S one, and I just though I may as well go for it, my son only gets married once - hopefully!

I can't see the other one getting married any time soon, and if I get a different outfit for my brother's wedding in Nov she said she could change the feathers to match (probably at an extra charge). I was suffering from migraine at the time of purchase, and I am just fed up with thinking about trying to find something, was going to get a fascinator online but then I wouldn't have been able to try it to see if it looked alright.

I could have said I will think about it but then I wouldn't have got it, and would still be looking. It is the best thing I have found so far, hee hee.

Yay, too true!

Well I am actually feeling a bit better, have been ill all week with migraine, one day too bad to drive and go to work, but struggled through the rest, I hope that this is the end of it, but can't say for sure. So haven't posted dominoes etc., just couldn't do anything feeling like that.

i was suffering with really bad headaches not so long ago cazzy, and i dont have migraines, and i went to see the doctor as an emergency whilst i was having one, i wanted to smack my head off the wall they were that painful!
it turned out i was suffering with cluster headaches Sad they were blooming awful, and came in batches (hence the term cluster) i had to have tablets for it but everytime i took one, i gained another side effect!!!
i could only take one tablet for the duration of the headache whether it lasted five mins or five hours!!!
he took me off the pill too!!! affraid but touch wood now that is out of my system i havent had any more but he did say they do come in clusters so i may may not get them again Sad
so i know how you feel, well sort of! Smile

I have to say I feel much more comfortable with the way it looks than the M&S one size doesn't fit hat, or a normal hat in general though I feel it should be locked up somewhere safe and not used!

Now I am worried it isn't quite the right colour to go with the pashmina but a new pashmina wouldn't cost a lot, it looks alright in the light! I need a clutch bag in hot pink now.

Oh your hat sounds lovely Cazzy & why not its only once & if the feathers can be changed thats good.

Sorry to hear about your mirgraine they are so nasty. I've only had one & that was a few months ago. My sight went 1st I was really scared. Lasted about 1/2 an hour & then the most horrendous pain in my head started. That lasted a couple of days but went less painful as time went on. Never known anything like it.

Hope you feel like crafting soon.xx
