NO COMPUTER

Ok this is real blow I have no computer it blew up smoke was coming from it and I mean smoke. So we have had it looked at and it is a right off so no computer.
We are going to be without it for the forseeable future so I will only be able to use the computers in the library.
I will be here once maybe twice a week. Not much I know but I will still be doing swaps.
Only problem is I will not be able to upload pictures of my work.
Insurance well sort of it covers accidental damage not wear and tare and this comes under that.
Still I can get on the internet via the library not very convenient but it is doable.
Like I said I will be around just not as much as before.

Aww Paula how awful for you - you will be lost with your pc. Shame the insurance won't cover it..

Oh Paula. Smoke and computers - not a good combination. It's a real shame the insurance won't pay out, they never seem to when you really need them to do they?!! I'm glad it's going to stop you coming on though.

Oh dear, but at least it was only the computer and didn't catch the house on fire too. I hope you manage to sort one out from somewhere. You are not in South Wales by any chance? My brother is always making up computers from bits of old ones and often helps people out with one.

We are using the computers at the library so it is not all doom and gloom. I live in Milton Keynes so noI am not in Wales.
We will try anad save up to get a lap top as it will take up les space but it will be while so I am happy using the library until then. At least I can do swaps etc.

That is good Paula, the library bit! I have an old laptop my dad got me from the Scouts Jumble sale, and it works but is not very fast, you can load stuff on but can't get it off again unless you email it to another computer. You would be welcome to borrow it, not sure how much it would cost to post though. (Probably more than the £5 it cost in the first place). I have used it online but it is painfully slow for that or anything else.
