whats your favourite alter!

well i dont know about anyone else but i love altering i'll give anything a go from tin cans to loo rolls, so cant wait to see what other peeps come up with in the altering gallery

so whats your favourite item to alter!

Last year I altered lunch box tins for all my daughter's friends for their birthdays which was good fun but now they've all got one so I need to find something else to alter. I have just bought a couple of the paint can style tubs to alter but I haven't decided what I'm doing with them yet.

I love altering CD's they are fun to do and can be hung on a wall or used with plate stands. I am going to try and add some to the gallery fingers crossed I can do it.

Yip cds, tins, boxes anything that I can get inspired with.
It is great to let your imagination run wild...lol

I love to see and receive them but must admit that I haven't ventured in to this side of things. Other than the altered CD Swap we had on the other Forum

My Altered CD's all have found homes now.

Your altered CD's are great Paula........... I'm sure the one for your friend will cheer her up no end.

I love doing these I had not made one until a couple of months ago and found they are great fun. I treat them a bit like a round card, that way I can decide on a layout for them and work with that.I also use paperscraps on them that I got in a PIF Paperscrap Swap.
I get the CD's from newspapers and any of those pesky freebies you get in the post sometimes.

Those are lovely Paula. I really like the oriental one and the teddy one is very cute too but they all look fab.

i've only ever done one and that was a swop that was organised at pcj, i did enjoy that though

I have loads in my blog, just click the altered art label to bring all that I have done! Cd's, boxes etc!

I like altering stuff too!!!!!

There are some many things that I would like to have a go at altering, my little pile of odds and ends are stacking up its just getting the time and the inspiration.

I still haven't tried a CD...I am still altering a hardback book I started 16 months ago. I keep getting side tracked by scrapbooking.

I have just done cd number 2 as last weeks sj little musings GDT piece and this week for the same Blog I have altered a frame from Ikea they are a bargain at the moment under 2.00 for 3 pine frames You can see them on my blog.
