NEW Design Team Members NEW forum features

There are going to be a few changes on the forum all for the better I'd like to add

Firstly I'd like to welcome Lyn (Spyder), Anne (chocolate fudge cake) and Julia to the design team they will be joining Myself, Fe and Cazzy starting from the 6th September.

Gez will be leaving us from the end of September so I would like to thank her for all her fantastic creations she's done for us and I wish her all the best but I'm sure we'll still be seeing her around

Secondly there are now going to be small handcrafted prizes for a winning participant in the weekly challenges, which I have now given its own forum thread. Remember it doesnt just have to be cards, any creations are excepted So make sure you blog about it and get more and more of us crafty peeps joining in.
Down the side bar I've added boxes of which I'll add photos of the monthly features, weekly prize and past weeks winner

Take a look at the portal page for new crafty advertisements and if you would like to advertise your crafty business with us for a very very small fee (which helps with the running of the forum) then please contact me directly

Think thats about it I am also trying to change the actual forum page to something more likeable and not so bland, but this may take time - lol - but I am working on it

I'm sorry you'll be leaving the DT Gez. I don't feel like we've had you that long in the first place! Hope you will still be coming on the forum and that we won't be losing you completely.

Oh I have only just seen this thread..so you are not the only one Lyn . Thanks for the welcome and I hope I do okay with my DT work. I have done my first one which is a card and also I have done Deanne's challenge which did make me think a bit I can tell you. I am working on Gez's challenge now and I have done Fe's already.
I am trying to create a good impression Hope it lasts!!

I have posted the challenges for the DT for the first 4 weeks in the DT area. Don't want to give the game away here do we!

Don't think I've found the DT bit yet! will hunt it out...what's it called dt area? ask a silly question....

It is right at the bottom under The Lounge, a place for the DT and moderators to chat. If you can't see it Deanne may need to give you permissions.

I can see lounge and I can see we are in 'new Design team members NEW forum features' next to it...(which is where we are, I think) but there's nothing UNDER it, nothing at all. and I'm now panicking cos my camera will only (SUDDENLY) take WHITE pictures!! Luckily I took some last night ok but none of the inside,..John's (hubby) is trying to see why it won't work right now...I' have another little camera, I think it was free in one of them 'posh' crackers! It's not very good!

I've spoken to Deanne & she has very kindly agreed to let me have a couple of months off & come back. I have been feeling really run down lately & my health has been suffering. The kids are driving me la-la as well which isn't helping!

I'm so pleased I can come back.

I must admit I was feeling like that before the holidays Gez. I took a break from everything and I am feeling much better now. Hope the break works for you too and I look forward to having you back with us again when you are feeling up to it. Sending hugs.

Seems like I'm not on my own with the way I've been feeling.......... just completely lost the interest in making cards, just done the bare essentials!!!! Haven't even felt like coming on here so have even missed out on all the activities of Gez leaving (thankfully just taking a bread) and the new DT members...... so, congratulations ladies and I'm sure you'll do a great job.

I missed you Dee, wondered where you were. I saw some kilts on a blog of someone here yesterday, now who was it? Could have been Lyn or Gez maybe?

Ah! I took a photo of some pipers at our local village fete, they were wearing kilts!
