Has anyone got one of these? I just ordered one from Sharon Duncan Crafts for my Mum's birthday. She has her eye on my Glue Dots one which was a lot more expensive and I have had problems with it so I am hoping this one is problem free. bom

It still hasn't arrived and Mum's birthday was yesterday, I told her she is getting something else but it is disappointing that I haven't even had any update on my order.

to be honest i've never heard of one before!
but its so disappointing when something takes ages in the post, especially when its a gift Crying or Very sad i'm sure she'll understand though.
if i were you, i'd cancel my order and demand a refund if you've waited ages and had no contact!!

I had quite a short and sharp reply that they had processed my order on the 19th and posted the thing on the 20th. So it is in the hands of the Royal Mail I guess, and maybe it will turn up Tuesday now.

It arrived today thank goodness. I can't see how it works, there is no trigger like the Glue Dots one. I think you just press but that will be easier for Mum, she can't do complicated! It is a much narrower tape than the Glue Dots one so I may have to get one myself eventually - got a lot of DST to get through first though.

Thats awful customer service, I hope you told them that. I often wonder if I'm the only person in the world who likes to provide a decent service to customers!!

Hope she likes it, let me know what it's like, cos I've been thinking of stocking them!

I don't know if it was down to the PO which has new regs apparently causing delays but the reply could have been a bit nicer. I did email to tell her I had it and had a nicer reply.

Was just wondering how your Mum was finding the Glue glider pro - I find it quite clumsy for some things it is so much bigger than I expected although the tape is good - so I use it when I run out of other things. When the cartridge is half way through it seems to get harder to use!

She said she is using it and she likes it. She is a beginner having only started making cards at Christmas and she gets muddled up between stamps and punches still. I expect it will take her a long time to get half way through Canne!

I have the Glue Dots one which has much wider tape which is really thick too, and I didn't think I would recommend it for her not to mention it cost £29 but refills are cheaper. I had to send the first one to Glue Dots, so far the replacement hasn't gone wrong.

I think we may be talking about two different things - the thing I have is pink and green but they only cost about £14.99. Mine has glue glider pro on the side of it though, mind you I don't see Stix on it !!!! Exclamation

Yep, Mum's is pink and green (well definately pink), I haven't used it, but I have the beige Glue Dots one which Mum had her eye on but I didn't think she would get on with it so bought her the other one for her birthday.

The pink bit is the cartridge and you have to discard it and buy another when it runs out.
