I've read the rules but I can't see where it tell me how to put my blog along the bottom of my posts...or it that the 'something' that will be added later (ie 'Certain sections of this forum will be moderated for your own
protection from spammers so you may have to wait until your post shows.)

Hi Spyder
You need to go into your profile and then the section "Signature" and then add your blog address there and that should put it at the end of all your posts.
Give me a shout if that doesn't work.

Blogger thinks I have a bug on my site but I've removed it. I'm waiting for it to do another check so that it will stop telling everyone I'm unsafe!

Hi Spyder, this could be a silly question but you are clicking on the signature tab and putting it there and not on the first page in the comments box?

Before you do that make sure you have enabled HTML and BB codes, that is on a different tab, mine are set to on.

all codes I can see are on, and I have it where it says my web page and in where it says signature I wonder if I have to write it out every time have to do that on another for http://spyder-spyderscorner.blogspot.com/um

Ummmm, I see no binoculars or anything like that! I see a thing at the top of the post that is a link might look like binoculars, like a chain but that is not in your signature (well not in mine).

When you click on profile do you see a page with tabs at the top saying Information, Preferences, Signature, Avatar, Friends and Foes, and Topic being watched, are you going to Signature on there?
If you have the preferences set up right, allow HTML and BB code you should just see a box in which you put your sig and words or code to add fancy sig.

Check the preference tab, I suspect you need to tick something to make this work, like always attach my signature. I do not enter something every time, you can see how mine looks.

hi spyder all i've done with mine is write in the signature box my name and my blog details as the html codes, all html are on, save, and should stay from there! please let me know if its still not working and i'll look into it from the admin side

It says HTML is on BBCode is on, smilies are on . I've typed my blot in the square next to this and I can see it above it too...and if I click on that it goes to my blog. I 've also put it where it says web page too. I also put in my yahoo email, and skype but they go after I save it too(actually I haven't a clue what all those other letters stand for, so maybe I shouldn't be putting my email in there!) anyway none of it stays... I also tick female..that goes away too AND if I put my birthday without the year is says that this forum doesn't allow people over 99 to join! (which made me laugh....) bit mean tho, I mean, there might be people out there who ARE 99 years old and want to join!!! anyway, it doesn't matter...I don't mind typing it in! At least I have my picture in here, most forums won't let me put that in! (Its not that scarrrrry is it!!)

I can't find 'preferences' at all! the last in the list is humor, (which is now filled in, it wasn't before) and on the right is says free forum/ punbb/ free forum support /etc etc... that's as far as it will go down but hey! the female thingy sign is staying there now, but none of my emails, (I didn't put in my birthday as I'm 99 years old and I'm not allowed!! lol) I've typed my emails in loads of times, (even skype) saved them, but when i go back they've gone! I shall have a little play later...boo...have to go to work now...actually, not that bad!

Morning Spyder, on your profile page, look across to the right from where it says profile at the top and there are a few more tags, preferences then signature
**edited to add** i've just gone in on the admin side Spyder, see if thats worked, post a post without typing in your blog and see if it auto comes up

Yay lets hope it is fixed now thanks Deanne.

Spyder, when you are on the profile page you should see "logged as Spyder....." in a bar on the page, and immediately under that is a tab that says "information" and is blue. To the right of that are the other headings in grey, to get to those pages you click on any of the headings as previously listed. I might have to take photos soon and post them to show you what I mean!

Oh and once you enter or change anything in any of the tabs you must scroll down to the bottom of the page and press save or you will lose your changes

Sorry, didn't get back to you, coz we lost Internet (again) Just nipped in to say "Hi!" and "GOOD MORNING!" Thank you for all your hard work finding the tags and things...not all the things are staying, even after saving but that doesn't matter! I'm off now to find the card challenge page, coz I've made one...
