I have embarked upon a scrapbook of my childhood which is a real change for me as I am used to doing very modern, boy themed scrapbook pages of Alex. I would love to know what you think of this page of me as a 18 month old with my Godmother (lefthand photo) and my mother with her Goddaughter (right hand photo). I have used a few new techniques to me in this page and would love your opinion.

i love it caro, is that glimmer mist that you've used, its gorgeous on layouts isnt it love oldie photo memories too x

Thank you all. In answer to your question Deanne it isn't actually glimmer mist (I don't yet have any of that) - it is distress ink stippled on with a brush. I was quite pleased with how it worked as I have never tried that before. I went to my parents this weekend and showed my Mum...she was really touched and loved it. Sadly my Godmother has Picks disease (not sure I have spelt it right) which is very similar to early onset Alzheimers (she is only 60) and it is so sad that she is going downhill very rapidly. it is nice to be able to remember her as she was at her best.

i love oldie photos and its lovely that you've got such a fond memory of it x

I love it Caro!! The stippled effect is brilliant. I really chicken out at doing things like that but I guess I should experiement more!
