QVC TSV Tim Holtz

I don't normally do this, haven't for years and normally can't bear to watch but.......it was Sir Tim, and I bought the TSV which is a book by him and some bits.

I rang back and asked if he could sign it but that didn't seem to be possible. I hope it is a good purchase, I have the DVDs already and a lot of his products, which need more use!

I also rang and added the grungepaper, no idea if it was a good price, probably could get it from the USA cheaper but Hey!

I blame it on being home sick but not sick enough to spend all day in bed sleeping like yesterday!

My mum sent me a text this morning to say he was on today. That man is a genius. I wish I had half his talent.

I know, I have been reading that he did workshops over the weekend, I would have loved to have been there but not sure where it was also as I had the lurgy wouldn't have been a lot of use me signing up for them!

I never watched it, and to be honest I never have watched him, but must one day just to see if I can try to do what he does lol
Will have to wait until I can afford the stuff though to take part lol x

You should catch him on You tube - some clips he does himself but other are where people have videod him at a demo. It's like having Sir Tim on your craft desk!

Cazzy - how much was their grungepaper - I have been looking for some and Stamp Addicts have it for £4.99 per pack

I was at work unfortunately and missed it. Was he good? I have watched a couple of his You tube videos and been impressed! You must let us know what the book is like.

It was great to see Sir Tim do his stuff on QVC ..and yes I bought the kit, actually my Mum bought it for me for my birthday which isn't 'till June :-( (don't know if I can wait that long to use it). He made beautiful flowers out of the grungepaper which I'm dying to have a go at. xx

I think it was just over £10 for 2 packs, each pack is 12" x 12" and contains 6 sheets, sounds like you can get it for less as usual. I got it with the TSV though so didn't pay any more postage.

I haven't worked out what exactly grungepaper is or how you use it. If someone wanted to do a tutorial on it that would be fab!

Caro, it is sort of tough paper, you can bend it and scrunch it and it stays in place, I think! I haven't used it yet but have seen it used lots, there is Grungeboard which is thicker too, again can be bent, coloured, roughed up.
