Had a great week away!

It's great to be home again but we did have a fab week with the family. Managed three days with my Daughter Sandie and even did one of her classes at her LSS. She taught a lovely Mini book which I just need to add a few finishing touches too. The rest if the time was spent at my SIL's and we had a lovely family BBQ. It was just so nice to catch up with them all. Living nearly 200 miles away from the all we don't get to see them as often as we would like, but when we do it is very special. Tring to catch up with the washing and ironing now and get back into our normal routine.

I did a great thing this weekend too................I met up with Deanne at last. Yippee! We do not live that far from each other but have never met. There is a great craft warehouse with monthly demos about halfway between us and despite numerous attempts have not managed to get together until now. It was lovely to meet her and good to have a nice long chat. We had a good mooch round the shop and a bit of spending (Deanne was so restrained) then had lunch at the pub next door.

Oh Anne how lovely that you met up with Deanne and had a lovely day. I will take some pics of the mini book when I have done a few finishing touches.

I was very restrained on our shopping trip but I was drooling over all the craft goodies like alot

Sounds like all three of you had a wonderful week/weekend! I spent the weekend chasing Alex (aged 3) round a local fete on Saturday and then in and out of water on Sunday, which was great fun (photos on my blog if you are interested).
