Challenge 14

Here's my entry for this challenge. I don't generally do Halloween but really wanted to do another shaker card (thanks Spyder - these are so much fun to make!).
The cat is a free download from Daisy & Dandelion and the stars are the "waste" from my Christmas card hanger so it's a very cheap card!!

" I have made two entries for this challenge as I love Autumn (don't do Halloween though). The background to this card was brayered in Adirondack butterscotch and then stamped. The main image is from JustRite stampers and was coloured using Whisper pens." This is a scrapbook layout of photos taken of Alex playing in the leaves last year. You can't really tell from this photo but the copper coloured card on which the photos are matted is shiney.

Caro - these are both great. I also love the background on the pumpkin card, it's just so effective. I really love the letters A and L on your layout and the colours are beautiful - I have some of that shimmery copper card and i love it.

Love that leaf print - if anyone wants to do a tutorial on how to do this then I'd be very happy as it looks really complicated but just so beautiful that I'd love to have a go.

Elaine, the background may look complicated but it is really easy. I just use a brayer (soft rubber roller) over a butterscotch ink pad and then roll it over the paper several times to give the background colour. I then use three different colours (light yellowy brown, mid orangey brown and a leaf colour) and a single stamp which I colour in two different colours...half and half as it were and then stamp onto the background at random to give the effect of a pile of Autumn leaves. I hope that this explains it OK..if not I will put some more details into a separate post.

There you go Lyn, that is gorgeous - so much detail! Oh I did load it but it is gone, seemed a little big so maybe if you reduce it it will work. I think I got it this time, took it from the blog not the link! Ha I loaded the others too, the first was your favourite but they are all lovely.

Great ATC's Spider. They are all so fab I couldn't pick a favourite. I love the spooky house and all the spiders, I love the spooky ghost and the little witch with the cat on the tomb stone is so cool too.

Ohhh, I've got my images painted... part way there!!!! Got to decide what to do with them now ........... getting there slowly but surely!!! LOl
